How to Direct Wire Double-Ended LED Tube Lights 4 Lamps Rapid Start

Question or Comment?

With double-ended direct wire LEDs, the line is connected to the lampholders at one end of the fixture, neutral at the other end. shunted or non-shunted lampholders can be used with double-ended LED tubes. double-ended tubes can be reversed in a light fixture just like a fluorescent tube. When using non-shunted lampholders, the wires only need to be connected to one side of the lampholder with most LED tubes (check the wiring instructions). Find Double-Ended LED Tube Lights

Caution! Direct wiring will cause the lampholders to be energized with line voltage when the light switch is turned on. Always turn the power off to the light fixture when installing or replacing tubes in direct wired fixtures.

A fixture modification label should be supplied with the tube. Place this on the ballast cover according to instructions.
